Volunteers Needed: Zine Making Station at Downey Library
Hi zine club!
We have heard back from the folks at the Downey Library and we are confirmed to facilitate a zine making station during their Beyond the Book event on Saturday, October 3 from 10 am - 4pm! YIPPEE!!
Blanca and Mars will be the two leads on this event.
We would love to have a couple more volunteers. Volunteer duties will mainly be assisting attendees with how to get started with their zine (like folding) and helping them with any materials (like cutting assistance for the littles). Volunteer time commitment is totally up to you. That is, if you can do the full event, awesome! An hour, great! Or just 30 minutes, that helps too!
If you are available or at capacity to volunteer, please reply to this email. This will help us with knowing who to expect and we also might make a volunteer button for folks to wear lol
